Esra Dalfidan

Esra Dalfidan (Germany, 1975), sings and plays classical guitar from her early childhood, winning 1st prizes at the renowned German competition “Jugend musiziert” and extensively touring and recording with the “LJZ Orchestra”. With a degree in music therapy from the “Fachhochschule Heidelberg” in 1998 she works as a music therapist in neurological rehabilitation and parallel to that takes lessons in jazz, switching her focus from guitar to vocals. In 2001 Esra begins her studies at the “Conservatory of Amsterdam” with Lydia van Dam, Ge Titulaer, Eileen Fiss, Debora Brown, Edwin Rutten, Ronald Douglas... In addition to her Conservatory training, Esra concentrates on composing her own pieces and formed the group “Fidan”, giving her a platform to find and realize her musical ambitions.
