Gustav Klimt String Quartet

The Gustav Klimt String Quartet (Klimt! for short), founded in 1993 by members of the Metropole Orchestra, has its own place and status in the Dutch music-scene, specializing in performing Jazz and Pop next to the classical repertoire. Klimt! collaborated with international top-class artists such as Elvis Costello, Brad Mehldau, Gino Vanelli, Paul Weller, Lee Konitz and various Dutch jazz artists and pop stars , with whom the string quartet recorded many CDs.
