Concert pianist Yevgeny Sudbin was born in St Petersburg in 1980, and has lived in the UK since 1997. He performs regularly in many of the world's finest concert series, both with orchestra and in recital, in major venues such as Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Concertgebouw Amsterdam. He has also appeared at festivals like Mostly Mozart, La Roque d'Antheron and Verbier.
He has collaborated with orchestras such as New Zealand Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Leipzig Gewandhausorchester, Philharmonia Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic, and with influential conductors such as Neeme Järvi, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Andrew Litton and Vassily Sinaisky. His love of chamber music has led him to collaborate with musicians including Alexander Chaushian, Hilary Hahn and the Chilingirian Quartet.
All of Sudbins recordings, with music of Scarlatti, Mozart, Beethoven, Rachmaninov and Scriabin, amongst others, have met with critical acclaim.
