Alexander Suslin

Alexander Suslin was born in Moscow and has lived in Hamburg since 1982. He studied at the Hamburg Conservatory and privately in Moscow under E. Kolosov. He gives concerts internationally as a soloist and chamber musician and takes part in major international music festivals. He was a member of the Astraea Improvisa- tion Ensemble with Sofia Gubaidulina and Viktor Suslin. He has taught at the Musikschule Pinneberg since 1994 and was awarded the Kulturpreis der Stadt Pinneberg (Germany) in 2010.
