Ulf Wallin

Ulf Wallin (born 20th century in Växjö) is a Swedish violinist. He studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna . His career began as a soloistand chamber musician . Later he taught as a visiting professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold . Since 1996 he has a professorship at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin. He has published more than 40 CDs, including 2011 and 2012 in two new recordings with all violin concertos by Robert Schumann . The Robert Schumann Philharmonie Chemnitz under the direction of Frank Beermann played with him the concertante works for violin (the violin version of Robert Schumann's Cello Concerto in A); Himself with pianist Roland Pöntinen the three violin sonatas . Of which was the inclusion of the imagination, Op. 131 of the Violin Concerto by Michael Struck , Robert Schumann Prize winner in 2009, considered as the reference image.
