Quatuor Dialogues

The Quatuor Dialogues was founded in 2010 by Robyn Baudhuin i.t. Manager with the ambition to the public the immense repertoire written for oboe and string trio between 1750 and 1820 ingredients. Though hardly known today, this genre formed the essence of the Chamber music written for the classical oboe, a mollusk instrument that the Baroque oboe. Countless composers from all over Europe dedicated themselves to the Oboe Quartet: w. a. Mozart, j. b. Vanhal, c. f. Abel, j. c. Bach, f. Krommer, f. Giardini, i. Pleyel, l. Massonneau, ... The ' gedialogeerde ' and ' concertante "quartets that they wrote, by their particular instrumentation offer an amazing rich and original sound palette. The artistic starting point of the ensemble wants to both original and authentic. The repertoire is fully accessed from manuscripts and old editions, analyzed from the point of view of eighteenth-century documents and tracts, and played on period instruments. The members of the Quatuor Dialogues studied at Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Since the end of their study, they focused on the historical performance practice and grant their collaboration with the most renowned ensembles in this area, both in Belgium and abroad (La Petite Bande, Ricercar Consort, Bach Concentus, Anima Eterna, Il Fondamento, les Muffatti, les Agrémens, Il Gardellino, Le Parlement de
