ECM Records is one of the most famous record companies in the world. Jazz music was the basis, the starting point and from there the renowned producer Manfred Eicher built it up. Musical styles have no boundaries with Eicher and he creates new music by mixing styles such as jazz, classical and worldmusic but also through experimentation and improvisation.
