Masterpianist Alexei Volodin in the Netherlands!
This week the Russian masterpianist Alexei Volodin is in the Netherlands! Constantly touring around the world - just recently he played in Tokyo - Volodin is now in Europe and he will give concerts on February 24th & 25th in the Netherlands.
February 24th he will play the Fourth Pianoconcerto of Beethoven in the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven. He plays with the Artur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Daniel Riaskin, with besides the pianoconcerto also other works. On February 25th the same program will be repeated in De Doelen in Rotterdam!
Furthermore there is some very good news because Volodin signs with Harrison Parrott for his worldwide management! HP writes about this on their website: "One of Russia's outstanding pianists, Volodin regularly works with the world's elite orchestras, among Them the New York Philharmonic, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig and the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala, as well as the NHK Symphony, Mariinsky Theatre, and London Symphony orchestras. He has worked with conductors including Valery Gergiev, Lorin Maazel, Riccardo Chailly, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Vasily Sinaisky, Mikhail Pletnev, David Zinman, Gerd Albrecht, Carlo Rizzi, Semyon Bychkov and Marek Janowski."
A superb pianist, very modest by nature but that does not make him less important: Alexei Volodin!
