New album Bart Wirtz with unique American line up

iDreamer, the new album of Bart Wirtz is released today! The dream project is recorded in New York with a few very important American jazz musicians.

The CD has a unique American line up: Nicholas Payton, the world famous trumpetter from New Orleans, Xavier Davis on the iano, bass player Richie Goods and Kendrick Scott, one of New York's most wanted drummers, who also plays in the band of Herbie Hancock.

"When Challenge asked me to record an album in New York, I immediately thought of the world famous trumpetter Nicholas Payton." Wirtz tells. "When you ask a man like Payton, it usually means he will only play on a few songs on your album. But he was so enthusiastic that he played along on the whole album!"
