Ronald Brautigam's 60th birthday with five concerts in the Concertgebouw

27-08-2014 Ronald Brautigam

Ronald Brautigam will turn 60 on October 1st this year, but he is not about to take time off! On the contrary: especially for his birthday he will give five concerts of Beethoven's Piano concertos in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. On August 30th is the first of the five concerts.

But that is not all: mid September a CD box will be released with all the Beethoven Sonatas on 9 SACD's followed in October by the seventh volume of the Mozart Piano Concerts (nos.14 & 21).

Ronald Brautigam is more driven than ever and he also feels that his playing still develops every day, as he said in an interview in the Concertgebouw Magazine. Beethoven is and remains one of his favorite composers and celebrating his birthday with the piano concertos and the Beethoven CD-box is therefor very appropriate!
