Founder and bandleader Michiel van Zundert gather the crème de la crème of Dutch music in his band “Spectalicious” for his debut CD, and consequently his compositions on “Cook Your Woofers” sound unbelievably conclusive and convincing. Although the sound and groove are based on the “Disco” of the 70s and 80s, they are arranged in such a way that the result sounds fresh and modern in the 21st century. Remarkable: all instruments and all vocals were recorded LIVE and REAL. Samples and similar things were not used and are not necessary either given the quality of the musicians and the ingenious arrangements.www.spectalicious.com
