About the album
The trio Stockhausen/Andersen/Héral is an exciting new German/Norwegian/French improvising unit. The group's repertoire takes off from compositions by Markus Stockhausen and Arild Andersen - both players with a long history at ECM - but there's plenty of intuitive group improvising too, incorporating colours and textures from jazz and rock traditions and from the worlds of electronic and ambient music.
