About the album
The fourth volume, the final one to complete all the symphonies, includes 6th and 7th symphonies composed in the latter period of Sibelius' composition life. Quiet, but passionate, purest world of music is brought into life through the wonderful combination of Mr. Ashkenazy and Royal Stockholm Philharmonic.
