About the album
The third album from the French - African drummer Manu Katche, after the two bestsellers Neighborhood and Playground. Recorded by Manfred Eicher in the South of France with a new line-up for the ensemble. This group remains faithful to the concept that the Guardian described as "beautifully mutated grooves and jazzy themes". As in the previous albums, all music written by Katche. His sparkling melodies combine jazz and pop elements. This album is extremely accessible and can charm a wide audience. Manu Katche, who has already worked with pop singers like Sting and Peter Gabriel, has become a stable factor within the jazz scene. In France Katche is already a star. A major European tour in the spring of this year, will grow his stardom in the rest of Europe.
