Cameron Pierre - guitarist, composer, producer, arranger, educator - returns to the studio to create his follow up to his debut Destin-E Records the critically acclaimed CD Pad Up (Get Ready) with his project Radio Jumbo. Featuring renowed French pianist Mario Canonge, the album sees Cameron writing music that reflects his rich Caribbean heritage and jazz.The disc also sees Pierre recording with a string quartet for the first time; overall, the tone of the record reflects that vibrant spirit of bands like Malavoi, Kassav, Tabou Combo, Skah Shah and others. A highly original sounding album reflecting the cultural heritage of Dominica, Guadeloupe, Martinique, America and the United Kingdom.
