Andrej Hovrin

Born in Samara, Russia, Andrej Horvrin studied piano and vocal coaching in Petrozavodsk, St Petersburg University of Music, and interpretation of art song at the State University of Music and Performing Arts, Stuttgart. He has worked as a vocal coach in masterclasses at places such as the Mozarteum Salzburg and the Jeunesses  Musicales Schloss Weikersheim and has worked in  Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Iceland with Inge Borkh, Julia Hamari, Richard Miller, George Shirley, Vladimir Chernov and Ľubica Orgonášová. Andrej Hovrin has given concerts in Russia, Germany, Sweden, Iceland, Slovenia, Greece, USA and Italy. His discography includes Lieder im Volston with Esther Kretzinger and an album with Auður Gunnarsdóttir performing Lieder of Berg, Sibelius, Grieg and Rachmaninov.
