The Dutch Van Baerle Trio is on tour in Europe! Maria Milstein, Hannes Minnaar and Gideon den Herder play in the famous Concertgebouw in Amsterdam twice beginning of March and in other venues in the Netherlands and abroad.

Mendelssohn of course is part of the program, the recent cd of the trio was released in October 2014 and is very popular indeed. Not only because of the magnificent playing of the trio but also because of the bonus cd: a world-première-recording of Piano Trio n.1 in an early version! The trio has had high praise for this version and for the cd on the whole.
