Christoph Prégardien nominated for an Edison Award

We are very happy and proud that tenor Christoph Prégardien and Michael Gees are nominated in the category 'Vocal soloist' for an Edison Klassiek 2020 Award!

The jury report says: "Tenor Christoph Prégardien is over sixty years old, but his voice sounds fit, nimble and beautiful. The Wesendonck-Lieder by Wagner are a 'university' level program within art song. Prégardien and his regular duo partner Gees take away any doubts about that choice with conviction."

Later this month the winner will be announced, so fingers crossed!
