Collegium Instrumentale Brugense

From its earliest days in 1970 the Collegium Instrumentale Brugense has shown itself to be a coherent group of musicians who, under the leadership of Patrick Peire, reach the core of each composition’s stylistic character. Today the ensemble is one of the most valued chamber orchestras in Belgium and has become firmly established on European concert platforms. Whilst striving for stylistic authenticity, the mu-sicians use modern instruments – a conscious choice which widens their possibilities of reper-toire and also allows them to achieve satisfactory results in halls where the acoustics are less than perfect.
