Anette von Eichel studied jazz vocals for her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague (Netherlands) with, among others, Rachel Gould and Jeanne Lee.
Her artistic collaborations over the past years with artists such as John Hollenbeck, Jesse van Ruller, Jasper Blom, Florian Ross, Matthias Schriefl, Robert Landfermann, Jonas Burgwinkel, Sebastian Sternal, Henning Sieverts, and film composer Annette Focks demonstrate Anette's versatility as a singer, composer, and lyricist. Her two productions with her current quartet, featuring Sebastian Sternal, Henning Sieverts, and Jonas Burgwinkel, have garnered significant international acclaim. The album "Belonging" (DMCHR 71435) was nominated for the German Jazz Prize in the "Vocals" category in 2024. Since 2010, the accomplished jazz singer has held a professorship in jazz vocals and jazz ensemble work at the Cologne University of Music.
