Kevin Gorman

Kevin Gorman (b. 1992 Pennsylvania), undertook undergraduate studies at the Crane School of Music (SUNY, Potsdam) in the studio of Paul Wyse, and doctoral studies at the Université de Montréal with Jimmy Brière, currently studying with John O'Conor at Shenandoah University, Virginia. While in Canada he was awarded the Grand Lauréat in the Festival de Musique de Royaume, Québec. Gorman's commitment to new music is reflected in the founding of Great Bear Editions, a company dedicated to the publication of contemporary piano music. The present recording is Mr. Gorman's first commercial recording.
