Kai Schumacher

The classical music child prodigy Kai Schumacher actually can restrict himself to playing Chopin studies faster than others; he had his first public performance when he was seven and his orchestra debut when he was 15. But his curiosity is indomitable, and consequently he continually seeks for new and stimulating challenges far from the beaten path in addition to classical music performances and tours, above all as an excellent connoisseur of contemporary American piano music:  regardless of whether linking concerts with video installations, folk-pop or world music projects or the use of electronic sounds during classical concerts.
