Dawidek - Poyner Duo

Since their first concert together in 2011, the Polish oboist Monika Dawidek and the English guitarist Russell Poyner have captivated audiences with their energy, vitality and interaction on stage, as they charmingly bring together this unusual combination of instruments. In this, their debut album, the German-based Dawidek-Poyner Duo deliver us a delightlful album of Latin American classics, including the always popular and definitive Piazzolla work Libertango. Tucked inbetween the Duo tracks, Poyner performs some of the most pleaseing and lovable South American works for solo classical guitar.
