About the album

The Coon –Sanders Orchestra never contained any ‘star’names, yet it produced one of the most instantly recognizable ans distinctive sounds of any ‘20s band.
And it was so popular, that there is still today a flourishing Society dedicated to keeping it’s memory green. Try “Deep Henderson” , “Here Comes My Ball And Chain” or “High Fever”and you’ll hear the polish, precision and swing that are the hallmarks of this splendid aggregation.
