About the album

With her duo Kirke, Lotte Van Dijck won in 1997 the "Grote Prijs" of the Netherlands and the "publieksprijs" in the category Singer-Songwriter. She recently received two awards for her poetry. Lotte van Dijck also wrote film music for the movies Jongens zijn we (Thomas Kaan) and Sextet (Eddy Terstall).

This is her first solo album, filled with songs sung in Dutch. About her music, 3 voor 12 said: "She shows us her unique view on the world, with almost a childlike fascination, but oh so beautiful. In a short period of time, I had several gusebumps several times."
