"King Of My Song" is the title of the debut album by Heike Kraske and Uwe Arenz. The two artists have the listener under their spell from the very first note. Heike Kraske's warm, sensitive voice and Uwe Arenz’s inspired guitar playing allow for dynamic, masterful and completely intuitive interaction. Original compositions, jazz standards and challenging Latin and pop songs, are all played in the duo’s very own style. They capture the listener with complex rhythms, swinging grooves and nuanced improvisations. Jens Neufang, a guest musician with the WDR Big Band, expands the sound on several pieces from this colourful sonic universe with expressive solos on both saxophone and flute. "King Of My Song" is relaxed, musical virtuosity that is potentially addictive!
