About the album

Friends…because for me, music is a story to share, and we share so well with and among friends. These friends-musicians come from all over (France, Switzerland, Italy, India, United States and Poland). They have personalities as diverse as my compositions which they interpret with great talent. Then let us part together, and ‘bon voyage’!
Also lasst uns alle zusammen musikalisch verreisen…..‘bon voyage‘! François Lindemann

Closely affiliated with the period’s “free” movement, he honed his craft in local clubs before forming the group CM4 in 1974. He toured in Europe and the States in the eighties and nineties, playing with such famous musicians as Carla Bley, Robin Eubanks, Curtis Fuller and Woody Shaw. In 1986 he founded an ensemble entitled Piano Seven, made up of seven Steinways, bringing in top-notch...
