"The RVB Quartet is a fantastic band that follows its own musical path. Whether it’s pop, jazz, or rock, it doesn’t matter. It’s good, well-crafted, and passionately played music, and that’s all that matters!"

What makes the album especially remarkable is the way Rebekka Van Bockstal’s quartet integrates improvisation into their compositions. The pieces are clearly structured, yet leave ample room for spontaneous interaction between the musicians. The improvisations are not merely technical displays but contribute to the emotional depth of the music. [...] The RVB Quartet manages to strike a balance between playful experimentation and emotional depth.
